Terms of Service

These terms are the rules for playing the mobile game Meteor Clash (the "Game"), published by Sahmtek ("we", "us"). By playing the Game you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not play. Questions: info@sahmgames.com.

1. Who can play

The Game is for players aged 13 and over. If you are under the age of adulthood where you live, a parent or guardian should read these terms with you, and agree to any purchase.

2. Your account

• The Game creates an account for you by itself, so your progress can be saved online. You do not need to give us your name or email address.
• You can choose to sign in with Google, Apple or an email address through Unity Player Accounts, a service of Unity Technologies, so your progress follows you to a new phone or tablet. That sign-in account is Unity's, and Unity's own terms apply to it. Keep access to it safe: whoever signs in with it can play your progress.
• If you play as a guest without signing in, your progress stays only on that device. It is lost if you uninstall the Game or change devices, and we cannot get it back for you.
• You can delete your account at any time from the Game (Settings → Delete account) or as explained on the account deletion page.

3. Player names

Other players see your player name and picture on the leaderboards. Your name must not be offensive, hateful or sexual, must not pretend to be another person, a company or the Game's team, and must not contain contact details or advertising. A name cannot be changed once chosen, so choose carefully. We may remove a name or a leaderboard entry that breaks these rules, and then ask you for another name.

4. Fair play

You agree not to:

• cheat, hack, modify or decompile the Game, or use tools, bots or scripts that play for you or change how it works;
• exploit bugs to get scores, items or currency, or send false scores to the leaderboards;
• disturb the Game's servers or other players' use of the Game;
• sell, buy or trade accounts or game items outside the Game.

If you break these rules, we may remove the scores or items involved, take you off the leaderboards, or suspend or close your account.

5. Coins, gems and other game items

• Coins, gems, Star Shards, heroes, weapons, looks and other items exist only in the Game. You get a personal right to use them in the Game; you do not own them, and they have no value in real money. They cannot be exchanged for money, transferred to another account or sold.
• Nothing random is sold, for coins or for money. Gems only save time: every hero and weapon they unlock can also be earned free by playing.
• We may change the Game's balance, prices in coins and gems, and how items work, to keep it fair and fun.

6. Purchases

• Items bought with real money (for example gem packs, the Starlight Pass or Mythic looks) are paid through Google Play or the Apple App Store. Their terms, prices and refund rules apply, and refund requests go to them.
• Except where the law says otherwise, purchases are final once the item is delivered to your account.
• Items bought in a store are restored by that store on the same store account. Progress such as gems you already have moves with your signed-in account.

7. Ads

The Game shows ads. Most are optional rewarded ads that you choose to watch for a bonus. Ads are provided by Google AdMob; see our Privacy Policy.

8. Your privacy

How we handle your data is explained in the Privacy Policy.

9. Changes and availability

We keep improving the Game, so features, items and events may change, be added or be removed. The Game needs an internet connection for some features, and may sometimes be unavailable, for example during maintenance. If we ever stop running the Game, we will announce it in the Game at least 30 days before, where possible.

10. The Game is provided "as is"

We work to make the Game run well, but we cannot promise it will always be free of bugs or interruptions. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect losses, or for losses caused by things outside our control. Nothing in these terms limits rights that you have under the consumer laws of the place where you live.

11. Store terms

If you got the Game from Google Play or the Apple App Store, that store's terms also apply. Google and Apple are not responsible for the Game or for support; contact us instead. If you got the Game from the App Store, Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies too, and where it conflicts with these terms, Apple's agreement wins for your use of the Game on Apple devices.

12. Ending

You can stop playing and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms. Sections 5, 10 and 11 still apply after an account is closed.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the Game changes. We will change the "Last updated" date above, and for important changes we will tell you in the Game. If you keep playing after a change, the new terms apply.
